Once initial contact has been made, the first step is to have a meeting to discuss your objectives and expectations. There are a couple pages of questions to address. This is the time for us to thoroughly understand your needs, goals and desires about your project.
Your budget, loan approvals, investments that may need to be liquidated, timing, and general expectations regarding the whole process are addressed. Various design sub-contractors, such as geotechnical engineers, surveyors, civil engineers, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, hydrologists, will need to be considered as part of the process.
Documentation will also need to be exchanged, design agreements discussed and signed, retainers collected, etc.
